Chocolate protein waffles

Ingredients :

½ cup almond flour or wheat flour

½ cup of plant-based milk

1 teaspoon of baking powder

2 eggs
-
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Cinnamon (to taste, optional)
- 1 scoop of Chocolate Nature Protein Drink
Instructions :

Preheat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, protein powder and cinnamon (if used).

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, and plant-based milk.

Incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix until a smooth, homogeneous batter is obtained.

Lightly grease the waffle iron if necessary (depending on your appliance).

Pour a portion of batter into the waffle iron and cook according to the instructions (usually 3 to 5 minutes), until the waffles are golden brown and slightly crispy.

Repeat with the rest of the dough.

Serve warm, garnished with fresh fruit, maple syrup, yogurt or nuts, as desired.
This recipe yields approximately 2 to 4 waffles depending on the size of your waffle iron.
